On-site Video Production – Which One Is Right for My Webcast Project?
What I've learnt about video production through cooking
I enjoy cooking for family and friends, and over the years I’ve learnt that the same dish can feel completely different depending on how it is prepared and presented. You can follow the same recipe with the same ingredients, but if the light in the kitchen is poor, if the food is cut unevenly or if it ends up piled untidily on the plate, the overall experience simply doesn’t work.
For me, video production at a conference webcast is very similar. The content is always the “recipe” – the lectures, discussions and presentations. But how this content is captured on camera decides whether the webcast feels clear and professional or flat and uninspiring. The difference between a single static camera and a well-operated multi-camera setup is like the difference between a quick snack and a carefully prepared dinner: both will feed you, but only one leaves a lasting impression.

Why Video Production Deserves Your Attention – Even if You Just Want a Webcast
If you are an event organiser (e.g. a PCO, an agency or a medical association), you probably just want a webcast that ‘works’. You're not necessarily interested in camera angles, technical jargon or video workflows – you just want everything to look and sound good and fit seamlessly into your existing processes.
This is exactly where our on-site video production packages come in: They are designed so that you don't have to worry about the technical details, yet offer either the highest quality or cost-effective simplicity – whatever you need.
Camera Packages at a Glance
Here you will find a clear overview of our production packages – what they do best, what you should bear in mind and when they are particularly suitable:

-
Perfect for: Lectures from a fixed lectern
-
Why it works: A single remote-controlled camera in each room is controlled centrally via our on-site back office. One operator can handle multiple sessions simultaneously – efficiently and unobtrusively.
-
Please note: With this configuration, the focus is on the speaker at the lectern – you will not get any shots of the audience or the activity at the sides of the stage.

-
Ideal for: Panel discussions, question-and-answer sessions or anything that requires movement on stage
-
Why it works: Two remote-controlled cameras – one for the lectern, one for the panel – are controlled by a single operator in the room, enabling smooth angle changes and dynamic images without complex set-up.
-
Please note: Works best within the stage area – if people are moving outside the stage, they may not be captured.

-
Ideal for: Opening ceremonies, award ceremonies or other highly dynamic events
-
Why it works: Full flexibility through the combination of a high-end camcorder and a remote camera. Both are operated by a professional camera operator. You get cinematic movements and emotional impact – ideal for important moments.
-
Please note: Requires more logistical planning and space – the presence of camera operators may be more noticeable.
Beyond cameras, we offer several expansion options to round out your production:
-
Remote Speaker Integration & Virtual Meeting – Seamlessly integrate remote speakers into your live event with full integration and two-way audio/video.
-
Vision Mix for On-Site Projection – Mix camera footage, slides and remote inputs live for projection at the venue – great layouts, no additional AV work.
-
Mobile Video Production Studio – A compact mobile studio with three cameras, live switching, microphones, lighting, teleprompter, green screen and on-site post-production by a two-person team – ideal for interviews, staged presentations or professional recordings.

Combine and Customise
The best part is that you can combine and customise these packages. Need more cams? Extend a controlled 2-Cam setup with a Manned Camera for highlight moments. Add Vision Mix to project content in the room. Include Remote Speaker Integration for hybrid implementation. That’s how you find the most efficient and cost-effective balance – without compromising on video quality or adaptability.
Your event is unique. Your production should be, too. Whether you want efficient integration or the highest quality, we have the right mix.
And now let's create a lasting impression by cooking or make a great video production - your choice.
